Episode guide
Welcome to one of the most confusing episode guides you will ever find. Wonderfalls was made in one order but that was never the intended broadcast order. It was broadcast in an order different from what it was intended to be. The DVD release has the episodes in yet another order. So far that is 4 different sequences. There are some dates for Ireland, UK, & Australia but i have not yet found all of the dates though the series did show in full in all of those countries.
In Canada the series was first shown on Global and NTV. When FOX cancelled Wonderfalls Global didn't show anymore episode either. The complete series was shown on the family/religious cable channel VisionTV (V) beginning 4 October 2004. The series has subsequently been shown on one and on CBC bold.
In the USA the series was first shown on FOX (F) but cancelled after 4 episodes had been braodcast. Due to the outcry of the fans and the creators' wanting to "get Jaye's words out" four episodes had public screenings in the summer of 2004 in California. The Museum of Television and Radio (now known as the Paley Center for Media) held a screening of the complete series on the 29 & 30 January 2005. In the summer of 2005 the LGBT cable channel logo (L) showed the complete series on television in the USA.
The table below has Quebec separate from Canada because the broadcasts on Télé-Québec (Q) are in French and about half of the series had its world television premiere in French on Télé-Québec. And yes, Caroline is bilingual and did her own dubbing for the French release.
The complete series was released on DVD (D) in Region 1 on 1 February 2005. Personally, i was waiting outside the FutureShop store in my hometown waiting for the store to open that day. By the time the store opened a few other people had shown up. The music had been changed in places on the DVD release. The VisionTV version contains the original music but was shown in 4x3. I don't know which version of Wonderfalls was shown on CBC bold.
